University of Florida Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Charged in Hazing Incident that Included Chest Slaps



The University of Florida Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha is being investigation in a hazing incident that included five pledges being hit with paddles, slapped in the chest and made to perform chores.

The suspects charged in the alleged hazing incident, include Metkel W. Beiene, 22; Chad W. Bilington II, 22; Brandon T. Daniel, Gregory J. Davis, 22; Jason Dubery, 23; Christopher D. Jenkins, 22; Domonique E. Martin, 21; Gary B. Terrell, 24; and Safo O. Agyemang, 26.

The suspects, which includes one alumnus, have been suspended from the University of Florida campus.

State Attorney William Cervone dropped hazing charges against Bryan Mizell, a member of Alpha Phi Alpha, due to lack of evidence.

Janine Sikes told The Independent Florida Alligator “disciplinary procedures will come as appropriate.”
