It has been five years since the untimely death of Houston native Chad Butler, better known to fans as Pimp C. Pimp C was one-half of the southern Hip-Hop duo UGK.
UGK member Bun-B Instagrammed a photo of his friend to his Twitter.
“Not enough words to describe how I feel. 20 years after we started, and 5 years after you left us, what UGK,” he wrote.
Pimp C was found dead in hotel room in Los Angeles, Ca on Dec. 4, 2007. The “Comin’ Up” rapper reportedly died from an overdose of promethazine and codeine, according to Houston Chronicle. He was 33.
