Troy Ave can breathe a huge sigh of relief after learning he is not facing a murder charge in the Irving Plaza shooting that left one person dead- his bodyguard Ronald McPhatter.

But Troy Ave’s troubles are far from over.

Troy Ave, whose birth name is Roland Collins, was indicted in Manhattan Supreme Court on one charge of second-degree attempted murder, and four counts of weapons possession in the May 25 shooting.

Troy spoke on the incident that occurred that fateful night in his “Free Troy Ave” mixtape, saying his actions were self-defense.

Troy Ave speaks on the shooting in songs “Intro (Troy Ave Speaks/Freestyle),” “Intermission (Troy Ave Speaks),” and “Outro (Troy Ave Speaks).”

“P—- n***a tried to assassinate me/I took the gun from him and turned the tables round like a G,” Troy raps.

Troy is currently being held without bail at Rikers Island. His court hearing is scheduled for June 22 at Manhattan Supreme Court.
