Tray Savage is mourning the loss of Glo Gang brother Blood Money.

Blood Money, born Mario Hess, died from injuries sustained in Wednesday night shooting.

Tray revealed through social media he cried for the first time since the loss of deceased friend Skudd upon hearing news of Blood Money’s death.

“On Skud I Ain’t Cried Since Lil Skud Damn Broskiii R.I.P #bloodMoney The Boss,” his social media posts read.



Tray also revealed he missed a call from Blood Money due to being passed out.

“I Was So High On Skud Funny Sh*t I Went Da Sleep Standin Up Leaning On Bro Bed,” his posts read.



Tray went on to recall the mentoring Blood Money provided him.

“We Was Just In It Glo Hit Me With Ah Band. Yu Say Be Cool Yo Lil Ass Hot Boi We Bouta F*ck These Ppl Head Up,” he wrote.



Tray and Blood Money were close associates in and out of their Hip Hop profession.

Tray and Blood Money collaborated on the trap single “Nino Brown.”



Blood Money, 33, and another 28-year-old acquaintance were approached by two gunmen in the 5600 block of South Elizabeth Avenue around 9:30 p.m.

Blood Money, 33, was shot 10 times. According to the Chicago Tribune, the gunman fired from different weapons and left more than two-dozen shell casings in the street.

Blood Money was found lying on a sidewalk and later pronounced dead at John H. Stroger Hospital, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

His 28-year-old acquaintance is currently in stable condition at Stroger, according to the Tribune.
