Slain Chicago Emcee Lil’ JoJo’s Brother Swagg Meets With Warner Bros Records



Chicago rapper Swagg is continuing to pursue the dream he and fallen brother Lil’ JoJo had before his untimely demise. Lil’ JoJo was tragically murdered in a hail of gunfire on Sept. 4 during a drive-by shooting as he was riding on the back pegs of a friend’s bike.

With his brother in mind, Swagg, whose real name is John Coleman, is aggressively harnessing his craft and brand appeal. The hard work may be paying off as the “Bail In Bail Out” rapper was recently was in New York City meeting with Warner Bros Records.

John Coleman told the Chicago Sun-Times he wants to continue his brother’s legacy.

“I just lost my brother, so I have to finish this dream of his, accomplish his mission with music,” he told the Sun-Times. “I gotta feed my family.”
