A group of Cook County inmates calling themselves “Savage Life” is in hot water for harassing female guards, according to the Chicago Sun Times.
The group comprised of murderers and rapists throw feces and urine at the guards. They also expose themselves and touch themselves in the presences of female defense attorneys and female correctional officers.
The incidents occur in Divisions 9 and 10 maximum-security housing units.
Many of Chicago’s most popular rappers, including Lil Jay and RondoNumbaNine, are being housed in these units.
Lil Jay was charged with murder in May 2015 after his associate, Filmon N. Rezene, 25, died from injuries sustained in a shootout.
Rondo is charged in the February 2014 shooting of cab driver Javan Boyd.
Authorities are hoping to pass new state legislation that will label the culprits as sex offenders.
