Russell Simmons Cops Chief Keef’s Frank Sosa Book, Urges Chiraq To Stop The Violence



Russell Simmons got his hands on a copy of Chief Keef’s newly released book “Frank Sosa.” According to the Frank 151 website, the book “features the varied artwork and photographs of hundred of fans and contributors.”

Simmons, who had his personal copy sitting on his desk, had a profound message to issue to the City of Chicago. The Hip Hop pioneer called for Chiraq to put the guns down.

“Chicago, you gotta put them guns down man,” he said. “Increase the peace. Stop that sh-t cause nothing good coming from it. All of yall got futures. Please G-d, please stop that violence, man. Put your guns down, do something positive.”

There were 425 homicide victims recorded in 2014 compared to 421 in 2013, according to DNAinfo. Chicago Tribune reports there were 2,599 shooting victims recorded in 2014 compared to 2,272 in 2013, a 14 percent increase.
