Rico Recklezz had a minor setback in 2013 after he was sentenced to serve prison time for having guns at his “No Reason” video shoot. Rico was charged with one count of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and criminal trespass to land, according to DNAinfo.



Rico has since been released and is vying for a major comeback with the release of his upcoming mixtape “Rico Don’t Shoot Em 2.”

Rico linked with ZackTV1 to tell his side of the story on the day of his arrest.

“Motherf*ckers was posted outside like how motherf*ckers be posted. Homie called up wanna shoot a video,” Rico said. “I ain’t even supposed to be posted anyway.”

Police soon arrived and arrested him.

Rico said the police even knew his name.

“They found two clips on me. All type of sh*t,” he said.
