Rapper Soulja Boy Brought to Tears During BET Awards Whitney Houston Tribute

Rapper Soulja Boy and the audience at the BET Awards in Los Angeles, Ca were brought to tears Sunday night during the Whitney Houston tribute.

Whitney Houston’s mother Cissy Houston serenaded the crowd with a moving rendition of “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”

Houston died Feb. 11, 2012 at a pre-Grammy Awards party in Beverly Hills, Ca from an accidental drowning. Toxicology reports revealed the late singer had several drugs in her system, including Benadryl, Xanax, marijuana and Flexiril.

Houston is perhaps the most famous songstress the world has ever seen. The singer, notably known for her hit song “I Will Always Love You,” has sold over 170 million albums worldwide.
