Montana of 300 was the talk of social media after he made his way to Los Angeles in September to work on new music with Kanye West. The “Fire In The Church” rapper sat down with Drea O to open up on the possibility of appearing on Ye’s “Waves” album.
“He’s real secretive about his album,” Montana said. “Yall have to ask him.”
Montana described Ye as being “real cool.”
“He wasn’t an asshole like the media portrays him,” he said.
Montana says he still gets that Chicago feel from him.
Montana announced in September he had an unreleased single with Kanye, Jay Z and Lil Wayne, Stereogum reports.
In a Facebook post that has since been deleted, Montana wrote, “Kanye x Montana of 300 x Jay Z x Lil Wayne #BeatSoHard #NewSh*t #ComingSoon.”
