Lil Phat will make a posthumous feature on Webbie’s upcoming project “Savage Life 4.”
Webbie released the tracklist to his much-anticipated album slated to drop Nov. 17. Lil Phat is featured in “F—d Her.”
Rapper Lil’ Phat, born Melvin Vernell, III, was shot and killed in June 2012 just outside Atlanta, GA.
Webbie was distraught by Phat’s passing .
Rapper Webbie wrote from his official Twitter account, “RIP TO MY LIL BROTHER PHAT! LIFE SO F—-D UP! TRILL4LIFE.”
Georgia prosecutors are attributing the murder of Trill Ent. Rapper Lil’ Phat to stolen marijuana, according to The Associated Press.
Prosecutors allege a hit was placed on the “Countin Money” rapper for stealing 10 pounds of marijuana from Decensae Xavier White and Gary Bradford.
The two reportedly hired Deandre Washington and Maurice DeWayne Conner to carry out the hit.
Five men total have been indicted in the slaying, including former Russian mobster Mani Chulpayev.
Webbie took to Instagram to praise God for the arrest of Phat’s murderers.
“God don’t sleep… RIP PHAT!” the caption of the photo read.
