Toon, a Lil Durk affiliate, was shot and killed Wednesday in South Side Chicago.
Toon, born Phillip Dupree, 26, and his 62-year-old grandmother were both shot in the head in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood around 2:40 p.m. Toon was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition.
Many people took to social media to express sadness over Toon’s tragic death.
No one is in custody for the shooting.
