There’s no place like home, especially for Lil Bibby. The NLMB gruff voice spitter chose to record his forthcoming “Free Crack 3” mixtape in Chicago as opposed to Atlanta where “Free Crack 2” was recorded.
Bibby explained the reasoning for this decision during his interview with DJ MoonDawg of WCGI.
“When I be in Atlanta too long, I can’t write too many songs,” Bibby said. “I gotta always come back to Chicago. It’s nothing like the Chicago feeling. I get bored, I don’t be knowing what to rap about when I’m in Atlanta for too long. Atlanta is not as fun as Chicago.”
Bibby’s FC3 project is expected to drop Nov. 27.
