King Louie famously said in song “Live & Die In Chicago” that he would never leave his hometown. But Louie has had a change a heart after an attempt was made on his life nearly two weeks go.
King Louie, born Louis Johnson Jr., was shot in the head Wednesday, Dec. 23 in the Ashburn neighborhood, according to the Chicago Sun Times.
“It’s crazy because it feel like I contradicted myself in one of my greatest songs- ‘No, I’m gone stay in Chicago,’” he told Revolt TV. “Really, I am gon stay in Chicago, but physically, I’m gon have to move cause they want my life in Chicago. They don’t want me to live in Chicago, so I gotta go and make myself invincible, so I can come back and change Chicago.”
