King Louie Earns Grammy Nod For Kanye West’s Song ‘New Slaves’



King Louie is celebrating phenomenal news he received Thursday afternoon. The “Drilluminati 2” rapper can now add a Grammy nomination to his list of accolades.

King L, born Louis Johnson, is credited as a songwriter for single “New Slaves.”



He posted a screenshot of his Grammy nomination to IG with a caption, reading, “Lookn Good 4 Me & Mine.”



King Louie was featured on the “Yeezus” album in song “Send It Up.” He was flown out to Paris to assist West in recording the track.



The 2014 Grammy Awards will air Jan. 26 on CBS.
