Katie Got Bandz Signs Record Deal With eOneMusic



Chicago femcee Katie Got Bandz is celebrating after signing a deal with independent record label eOne Music.

The record label announced the signing on Twitter.

“What up @KatieGotBandz!? Katie Got Bandz Signs Record Deal With eOne Music on @FakeShoreDrive,” the company wrote.



Associates of the 19-year-old First Lady of Drill took to Twitter to congratulate the queen of drill, including legendary Chicago spitter Twista.

“congrats to @KatieGotBandz on your new deal @eOneMusicUS,” Twista wrote.



Producer Block On Da Track congratulated the queen of drill, writing, “Folks @KatieGotBandz just signed a deal it’s time to turn up!!!!! Get ready.”



Katie expressed gratitude for their words.

Katie, a product of the Ida B. Wells housing project in South Side Chicago, hopes to be a voice for female artists to model themselves after.

“I’m trying to go outside of the box. I’m trying to set a trend for the females,” she told Dazed Digital. “I don’t think that we have to sell ourselves to get on. You have to remain humble and don’t let the negative stuff slow you down. You gotta let that be your motivation.”
