A Calumet College student filed a lawsuit against Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. on allegations of hazing, according to the Times of Northwest Indiana.
Carmelo Gonzalez alleges he was hit in the head with a paddle by two former members of the crimson and cream fraternity.
Gonzalez reportedly suffered “severe head injuries” during the hazing incident, according to court records obtained by the Times.
Kappa Alpha Psi has since suspended the members from the fraternity.
