In Tuesday’s court procession, the state prosecution showed the jury footage of Zimmerman’s interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity.

In the interview, Zimmerman said he didn’t regret following Martin and possessing a gun during his confrontation with the teenager.

“I feel it was all God’s plan and for me to second guess it or judge it…,” Zimmerman said.

R&B singer John Legend found Zimmerman’s statement chilling.

“So chilling to watch Zimmerman claim he was executed God’s plan by killing an unarmed 17-year-old,” the “Who Do We Think We Are” singer wrote.
