Radio Talk Show Host Howard Stern may not be cut out for being a talent judge.
The 58-year-old shock jock stunned viewers when he made a 7-year-old rapper cry on NBC’s America’s Got Talent.
Mir Money, a young rapper from Philadelphia, got his first X from Stern after rapping “I’m only 7-years-old, it’s gonna be my year!”
Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy Osbnourne’s wife, gave Mir Money his second X, which eliminated him from the competition.
Mir Money appeared hurt by his elimination but started crying after Stern’s remark.
“First of all, you are a very nice young man,” he said. “No one likes hitting the X on a 7-year-old. You’re very brave to get up there at 7 years old.”
Hit with boos from the audience, Stern went on stage to comfort the Philly rapper.
Stern told Mir Money he was a “terrific young man.”
I met many great rappers on my show, he said, and none of them are quite as good as you.
Mir Money quickly shook off his elimination. We hope he uses the experience to better his craft and prove Stern wrong.
