A Hampton University student succumbed to injuries sustained from a tragic fall from a bridge early Friday morning, WAVY-TV 10 reports.
The victim, Christopher A. Smith, fell from the Shockoe Valley Bridge following an argument in a vehicle, according to WUSA 9. He was 19.
The driver of the vehicle reportedly pulled over near the side of the bridge and Smith got out.
The Bowie, MD native’s body was found on 7th Street just below the bride, according to the Daily Press.
Authorities are looking for the suspect vehicle.
