Marquis Boone and Rich “Philly Filthy Rich” Harris are the masterminds behind their highly popular independent Black comedy film “The Bid,” starring some of social media’s popular acts, including HaHa Davis, Mr. Commodore, Southside Ju, Ghee Funnyand Shawn and A-Town.
This comedy is about two Philadelphia rappers Boone and Rich who are framed for murder following a police raid. The innocent men are then sent to prison where they must fight the unjust Philadelphia penal system from behind walls.
Rich is no stranger to serving a bid, but Boone is foreign to prison rules and ethics. Rich must teach Boone the ropes on the inside, so they both can survive.
