George Zimmerman’s Wife, Shellie, Lies About Living In A Trailer In The Woods

The living space Shellie Zimmerman shared with George Zimmerman during her husband’s second-degree murder trial wasn’t the 20-foot trailer she purported it to be.

It was, however, a grand two-story, 3,500 square feet, $240,000 home on a cul-de-sac with landscaping, a show-piece pool and spa in the backyard and two security camera installed on its front door, the Orlando Sentinel reports.

This is a stark contrast from the “gypsy” lifestyle Shellie said she and George Zimmerman lived.

“We have been pretty much gypsies for the past year and a half,” she told ABC News in an exclusive interview. “We lived in a 20-foot trailer in the woods…scared every night that someone was going to find us. And that we would be out in the woods alone and that it would be horrific.”

The couple is reportedly paying $1,000 a month in rent to an Orlando-area husband and wife who own several pieces of real estate.

The Zimmermans were involved in a domestic dispute Monday afternoon after George allegedly pulled a gun on Shellie and her father, according to ABC News.

Zimmerman was acquitted July 13 in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin whom he deemed as suspicious a the 17-year-old teen was walking to his father’s fiance’s home after picking up snacks.

Zimmerman was arrested and charged with murder 42 days after the Feb. 26 killing.

Zimmerman’s acquittal sparked nationwide protests on allegations of racial bias in the criminal justice system.
