Freaky of Bricksquad was among five people who were recently arrested in a counterfeit cash investigation, according to WKOW 27.
Freaky, 21, Dominique D. Gaunichaux, 18, Danesha B. Phillips, 22, Ungelique Franklin, 44, and Marllo P. Phillips, 18, were arrested on suspicion of an uttering felony after they allegedly passed counterfeit $100 bills with the same serial number Tuesday night at various stores in Janesville, WI, according to GazetteXtra. “Uttering” is the act of offering over a forged document to someone else when you know the document is forged.
Jimmy John employees reported someone tried to pass a fake $100 bill. A short time later, similar complaints started coming in from other business in the Milton Avenue Corridor, including Target, Agrace, Applebee’s True Laser, Menchies, hobby Lobby, Wisconsin Vision, Starbucks, Fazolis, Sally Beauty Supply and Petland.
Additional charges are likely, police say.
