Terrence Jenkins, known to many for his role as co-host of BET’s 106 & Park, has landed a job as a co-host of E! News, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Terrence Jenkins will join Giuliana Rancic at the weekday anchor desk beginning November 12. Jenkins’ job duties include working on personality profiles and reporting for the entertainment news program.

Jenkins, who is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., is excited about his new role, saying, “I’ve always had a passion for the wide spectrum of pop culture that E! News covers so well; I can’t wait to get started. I’ve had a great career so far, and it’s all been building toward this.”

E! Entertainment is revamping its strategic plans to be a “bigger player in the competitive breaking news landscape under chairwoman Bonnie Hammer,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.

“Terrence Jenkins is a talented and well-connected television personality who will bring an original sensibility to our news programs,” E! President of network strategy and E! News Cyndi McClellan noted in a statement.
