Footage Surfaces Of Ques & Nupes Fighting At 16th Annual Kappa Khristmas Jam & Toy Drive

Footage surfaced of a violent brawl involving two prominent African American fraternities.

It was at a Dec. 16 charity event where members of Omega Psi Phi and Kappa Alpha Psi allegedly traded fists, according to ABC 7.

The melee occurred at the Radisson hotel near the LAX where Kappa Alpha Psi held their 16th Annual Kappa Khristmas Jam & Toy Drive, CBS 2 reports.

The disruption involved tables and chairs being thrown and some reported injuries, according to ABC 7.

Police soon arrived and quickly ended the event attended by more than 1,000 patrons.

The altercation allegedly occurred when members of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity conducted a “step” routine during the event, fraternity member Anthony Williams told NBC 4.

Williams alleged the brawl resulted from men wanting to impress the women in attendance.

“That’s always the reason,” Williams told NBC 4. “Somebody has to be the Alpha male to impress the female.”
