FlyTy of A Fly Visual called into KollegeKidd.com to offer his thoughts on a myriad of topics, including the death of up and coming Chicago rapper JayLoud and the success of Slim Jesus.
FlyTy says many Chicago artists owe Slim Jesus a thank you for making “drill music relevant again.”
“…When you say drill, you think Chicago,” FlyTy said. “He said it out his own mouth, he was influenced by Chicago artists, specifically P. Rico’s ‘Gladiator.’ …With him having a song titled ‘Drill Time’ and it taking off the way it did, that’s bringing light back to drill music.’”
