Drake Says He Is Inspired By Real Gutta, Hood Music, Listening To Lil Reese’s ‘Supa Savage’ Mixtape

Drake is a self-professed fan of the Chicago drill scene. This is evident after the Toronto native gave Fredo Santana a cameo role in “We’re Going Home” official music video.

That’s not the only GBE member Drake is a fan of. The “Nothing Was The Same” rapper told Hot 97’s Angie Martinez he is currently listening to Lil Reese’s “Supa Savage” mixtape.

“I’ve been really inspired by just some real gutter, hood music,” Drake said. “Just listening to Lil Reese ‘Savage’ mixtape.”

Drake also mentioned he is listening to up and coming Chi Town artists Lil Herb and Lil Bibby.

Lil Reese dropped his first solo mixtape as a Def Jam artist Sept. 2.
