Chicago rapper Lil’ Jay took to Twitter to reveal news of his recent signing with Interscope records.
“IM OFFICIALLY INTERSCOPE RECORDS #00,” he wrote.
The rapper has been generating a buzz after releasing the “F*ck Sosa” official music video.
In the song, Lil’ Jay raps, “We screaming f*ck Sosa/ You just a foot soldier/ Free my ni**a Motor/ He do this when her sober/ Damn we some winners/ You just a beginner/ We shoot sh*t like a camera/ All my ni**as sinners.”
Ironically, the rapper’s signing with the label would make him label mates with Chief Keef. If Lil’ Jay’s signing proves factual, it could actually serve as a blessing in disguise. The two emcees could squash their beef and inspire others in Chicago to do the same.
