Derrick Rose Alleged Rape Victim Seeks $21.5 Million

A woman who claims Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose sexually assaulted her over two years ago is seeking $21.5 million in damages, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Rose is accused of luring the 29-year-old woman into group sex with two male acquaintances. The alleged victim is reportedly seeking $15.5 million in punitive damages, $6 million in compensatory damages and $3,420 in attorney’s fees.

Rose maintained his innocence saying he was in a relationship with the woman and that the sex was consensual.

In court documents obtained by the Chicago Sun Times, Rose said the woman who accused him of sexual assault ‘‘consented to sexual interaction with more than one co-defendant on more than one occasion, consented to sexual interactions on the day in question and invited the defendants to her apartment and buzzed them in.’’
