Miley Cyrus became the most talked about pop star following her performance at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.

Cyrus received much press, mostly negative, due to her twerking dancing moves.

Rising rapper Danny Brown is the latest critic to throw shots at the former Disney star.

“I hate Miley Cyrus..Get het the f*ck outta here,” he wrote.



Danny Brown may not be too happy with Miley for taking claim to his hometown of Detroit.



Miley told Rolling Stone magazine she felt like she grew up in Detroit after filming “LOL” there:

“Detroit’s where I felt like I really grew up,” she says. “It was only for a summer, but that’s where I started going to clubs, where I got my first tattoo. Well, not my first tattoo, but my first without my mom’s consent. I got it on 8 Mile! I lied to the guy and told him I was 18. I got a heart on my finger and wore a Band-Aid for two months so my mom wouldn’t find out.”

Cyrus also revealed bonding with Demi Moore on the set. Moore’s relationship with Ashton Kushton subject to much press at the time.

“That was dope, because I think we needed each other at that point,” Miley said. “We both needed to get out of L.A.”

Brown further elaborated on his frustrations with Miley, writing, “…She making a mockery out of ratchet white girls that shit ain’t re.”



Miley released her latest visual for the Mike Will Made It-produced track “23,” which features Juicy J and Wiz Khalifa.

Miley promoted the visual with racy photos that surfaced on social media.



America’s sweet heart-turned bad girl may turned heads with questionable lyrics in the song.

If fans were shocked by Miley’s twerking fetish, they will be shocked by her professed drug use.

“I’m in the club, high off purp, with some shades on/Tatted up, mini skirt with my Js on,” Miley sings.



Miley’s use of “purp” could be in reference to the codeine and sprite-mixed concoction or purple Kush, a potent variety of cannabis.



ASAP Rocky was in shock upon learning Miley’s lyrics during an interview with TMZ.

“Word? She rapping about Lean? Miley Cyrus, she sips Lean now? Now, that’s interesting,” the “Problems” rapper said.
