Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine appeared on Howard Stern radio show and was prodded with questions regarding “The Voice” co-judge Christina Aguilera’s weight gain.
“This is a sensitive subject for women, but why do you think she’s gotten so heavy?” Stern asked Levine. “She used to be so f—ing hot… And her clothes are tight, right. Am I right or am I wrong?”
Levine responded, “Her clothes are tight. She likes to wear to tight clothes. She clearly likes to talk about being comfortable being a woman and snapping her fingers and doing the whole thing.”
Stern further questioned Levine saying, “When you’re a plus-size woman, you can’t wear tight clothes anymore.”
Levine quickly ended the conversation refusing to comment on Aguilera’s weight.
“I’m keeping my f—ing mouth shut!” he said.
Christina Aguilera’s form fitting attire has raised eyebrows in the media. Though she has received criticism, many have praised the singer for being comfortable in her body.
The Voice airs on Monday at 8pm Central.
