King Louie suffered a near fatal gunshot wound to his head just days before Christmas. The Mubu boss, born Louis Johnson Jr., was shot in the head in the 3900 block of West 83rd street about 3:30 p.m. in the Ashburn neighborhood, according to the Chicago Sun Times.
He was taken to Christ Medical Center In Oak Lawn where he was listed in stable condition. Louie’s manager told the Sun Times the rapper is “awake and talking.”
Newly surfaced footage shows Louie’s car riddled with bullets.
