Chiraq artist GV is taking off hence his stage name. A G5 is one of the most state-of-the-art aircrafts ever crafted.
GV is no newcomer to the Hip Hop scene.
The Englewood native has been working on his craft for many years with his authentic brand of street music.
“I’m in my own lane,” the six-year rap veteran said. “I make people feel where I’m coming from. I spit real sh-t for real street n-ggas.”
GV recently earned a spot on Coast 2 Coast’s “Hottest In Illinois Vol. 2” compilation mixtape. GV and Daz Lord linked for the Pyro Man Beatz-produced song “7:30.”
He and Mozart The Grinch comprise Hip Hop group GTG (Get There Gang). The two artists released their debut joint mixtape “GTG Vol. 1” earlier this year.
Expect more street music from GV in 2015.
