Chief Keef’s Father Alfonso Cozart Fears For Son’s Life

The start of 2013 is not going too well for Chief Keef. The teenage rap sensation’s stepbrother Ulysses “Chris” Gissendanner III was murdered after visiting an uncle, according DNAinfo.com.

Chief Keef has received countless death threats for his alleged involvement in the murder of aspiring rapper Lil’ JoJo.

Following the tragic murder of the 18-year-old rapper, Chief Keef took to Twitter to tweet disparaging remarks.

“hahahahahhahahahahahahahaahhAAHAHAHAHA #RichNiggaShit.

“Its Sad Cuz Dat Nigga Jojo Wanted To Be Jus Like Us #LMAO,” he wrote.

Chief Keef’s estranged father Alfonso Cozart told DNAinfo.com Gissendanner’s murder does make him worry about his rapper son.

“As a caring father, who wouldn’t worry about that?” Cozart said. “I do want my son to have success and have a long, positive life, and I hope the best for him.”

Chief Keef was recently taken into custody after a judge ruled he violated the terms of his probation.

Juvenile Court Judge Carl Anthony Walker ordered Chief Keef into custody for his role in operating a firearm during an interview with Pitchfork Media in June 2012.

Walker ordered the online music publication to turn over “the entire unedited version” of Chicago rapper Chief Keef holding a rifle at a gun range. In the video, Chief Keef, whose real name is Keith Cozart, can be seen shooting the weapon inside the gun range.

Chief Keef is scheduled to be sentenced Thursday.
