Chicago Rapper Prince Eazy Says Chief Keef Was Smart For Leaving Chiraq

Prince Eazy hails from what he calls the most dangerous side of Chicago: The South Side.

Eazy spoke on his upbringing during an exclusive interview with Kollege Kidd.

“Chicago dangerous, but it’s fun too because you adapt to your environment,” he said. “People couldn’t last a day in our city.”

Eazy said life was good for him until his stepfather Pelo died.

“We used to have every pair of Mikes that came out,” he said. “My pops was taking care of my OG. She ain’t have to do nothing. Once he died, she had to get back in school, she had to work three jobs. I had to be out here doing what I had to do to make sure my siblings, who four, five years younger than me, straight.”

Eazy said life is so crazy in Chicago he doesn’t blame Chief Keef for leaving.

“People judging Chief Keef, ‘He bogus for moving to LA.’ No, he smart,” he said. “He smart cause our city don’t show love like Atlanta. It’s crabs in a barrel.”
