Chicago Rap Group L.E.P. Bogus Boys Slam Artists Who Rap About Drugs



Newly signed Interscope artists L.E.P. Bogus Boys had a few words to get off their chests.

The “Benjamin Franklin” rappers took to Twitter to blast artists who lie in their rap lyrics.

More specifically, they wrote it is “corny” to rap about drugs when one has not been in the streets.

“I don’t get why rappers that haven’t been in the streets like to rap about drugs shit corny you hood don’t know you for getting money.



“Even with rap if you haven’t done say your people done it but don’t lie and say you did that shit felonious.



“We respect all the yougins for what they doing but yall using rap to gang bang yall mixing fans with street shit and innocent fans get hurt,” they group wrote.



The group wrote they earned their respect from fans for being “original.”

“Fan like us for doing us not doing another artist when doing your shitz do you be original,” they wrote.



The LEP Bogus Boys recently inked a major label deal with a with Gee Roberson’s new imprint on Interscope/Geffen/A&M Records called Blueprinin late 2012.

The group is busy at work on new music for eager fans.
