Jackie Robinson West is the shining star of America right now after defeating Nevada 7-5 in the Little League U.S. Championship. The South Side Chicago natives showed great resiliency after avenging an earlier 12-3 loss to the West Region champion.

They are the first all African-American team to play in and win the U.S. championship.

A slew of artists from the Chicago Hip Hop community took to social media to congratulate the star athletes, including, Lil Reese, King Louie, Edai, Lil Durk and Fredo Santana.













Jackie Robinson now face off against South Korea today in the World Championship game.
