Cdai Requests Letters & Donations From Fans In Message From Jail



Cdai issued an official statement following his arrest for first-degree murder in the Feb. 22 death of cab driver Javan Boyd. An associate of Cdai posted a message via IG on behalf of the embattled Chicago MC.

“22 Shotz Said Write Him He Gone Write Back And Send Money This The info…HE A BE BACK DOWN ASAP!!!!!!!! #600 #stevedrive #ssr #supasavage #600,” the caption on the post read.



“Free 22 shots me and Edai Payin for his lawyer it’s 30k were y’all money at?” Capo wrote on Twitter.



Cdai, born Courtney Ealy, was charged Tuesday, March 18 with first-degree murder and ordered held without bail in the Cook County Violence Court.

Cdai was on the come up in the rap scene prior to his charge.

Cdai was a newly signed rapper with Fredo Santana’s Savage Squad Records.

Fredo proudly announced Cdai’s addition to his label in late December 2013.

Cdai showed his loyalty to Fredo’s label with a “SSR” tattoo near his side burns on the right side of his face.



Cdai was prepping the release of his “3 Much” mixtape prior to his incarceration.

Cdai’s next court date is scheduled for April 4.
