Big Sean appears to have been raised a well-rounded young man. This can be attributed to the fact that he is the product of a woman of Delta Sigma Theta.

The “Guap” rapper revealed during an interview with Power 105’s The Breakfast Club that his mother is a member of the Crimson and Cream sorority when describing a vehicle he bought for her as a gift.

“The car she got was this brand new caddi she always wanted,” Sean explained. “I got it Delta red cause she a Delta. She got surprised with it with a big bow on it.”

Delta Sigma Theta will be continuing their centennial celebration this week as the sorority hosts its 51st National Convention in Washington, D.C.

The nation’s capital is expecting a flood of 40,000 sorority members for the convention that will be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.

Delta Sigma Theta, which was founded Jan. 13, 1913, boasts the most members for any historically African American sorority.
