Atlanta Rapper Young Scooter Says Free Gucci Mane

Atlanta emcee Young Scooter is advocating the release of Gucci Mane despite the “Lemonade” rapper hitting a fan in the head with a champagne bottle in an Atlanta nightclub.

The victim, James Lettley, was seriously wounded and was treated with 10 stitches.

Referring to Gucci Mane as “Guwop,” Young Scooter took Twitter to advocate his release and disparage the police.

“FREE MY N—- GUWOP F— THE POLICE,” he wrote.

Gucci Mane, whose real name is Radric Davis, appeared in court last Wednesday on a charge of aggravated assault.

Due to the nature of the offense and his extensive criminal history, Gucci Maine’s bail request was denied.
