50 Cent Co-Signs Chief Keef as Hip Hop’s ‘Best New Artist’



Rap titan 50 Cent took to Twitter to give Chicago artist Chief Keef a major plug. The multiplatinum rap artist crowned Chief Keef as Hip Hop’s “best new artist.”

“Hip Hop best new artist @chiefkeef hands down. SMSaudio,” he wrote.



The two Interscope artists have been growing their friendship in recent weeks after the G-Unit founded decided to take “I Don’t Like” rapper under his wing and serve as his mentor.

50 Cent allegedly talked about the Chicago emcee for an hour, according to a sms tweeted by Chief Keef.

The “Love Sosa” rapper took to Twitter to reveal the growing friendship between himself and 50 Cent.

“@50Cent MyNigga,” he tweeted.

“50 was in my ofc talking bout u for an hour. He loves u man, the sms read.”

“I love him too,” Chief Keef replied in the sms.



50 Cent revealed on Twitter that he and Chief Keef recorded a song together.

“I did a new joint tonight with @chiefkeef,” he wrote. “He got some heat.”
