21 Savage Released From Detention Center, Flies Home To Atlanta

21 Savage is out that jam, and on his way home to Atlanta. 21 hopped on a private jet after his released.

Jay Z assisted 21 by paying for his legal team.

21’s lawyers, Charles H. Kuck, Dina LaPolt and Alex Spiro told TMZ, “21 Savage asked us to send a special message to his fans and supporters — he says that while he wasn’t present at the Grammy Awards, he was there in spirit and is grateful for the support from around the world and is more than ever, ready to be with his loved ones and continue making music that brings people together. He will not forget this ordeal or any of the other fathers, sons, family members, and faceless people, he was locked up with or that remain unjustly incarcerated across the country. And he asks for your hearts and minds to be with them.”

21 Savage was driving recklessly, and almost slammed into a fully-marked police car the day of his arrest, TMZ reports.

Police say 21 was in possession of a fully loaded Glock at the time of his arrest. The Atlanta rapper was driving a red Dodge Challenger when police say he drove across the sidewalk in an attempt to get onto another street.

The cops pulled the car over, and ATF agents – who were also on scene – ordered 21 to stop and throw his keys out the window.

The report states 21 threw the keys out, along with a bottle containing an unknown substance. 21 got out of the car, and was taken away in handcuffs by ATF.

The gun and an extended magazine was found in the glove box in the Dodge 21 was driving.

The police report states 21’s cousin Young Nudy was the initial target of the operation.

There were three cars involved in the arrest, and police say all of the people inside were connected. One suspect – Kalil Smith – was driving in another car with an M4 rifle in the floorboard.
