Friends recently put together a collage to honor the birthday of Shondale Gregory, a teen victim of Chicago’s gun violence. The footage includes rare video and photos of the slain teen.
Gregory, known to friends as “Tooka,” was shot and killed Jan. 12, 2011 at a bus stop at 63rd and St. Lawrence in the Woodlawn neighborhood in South Side Chicago. He was 15.
Tooka’s tragic death reflects a pattern of senseless gun violence gripping the city of Chicago, especially amongst its urban youths.
