XXL Freshman 2011 alum Lil B knows the right person qualified to follow in his footsteps. The “Wonton Soup” rapper co-signed Fredo Santana as a selection for XXL Freshman 2014.

Fredo was honored to submit a pitch to XXL.
“I feel like I should be the freshman ’14 cause I’m actually really a freshman,” Fredo said. “I dropped my first project at the end of 2012. In 2013, I dropped a couple mixtapes. I’m modeled for 40z…modeled for 10 deep. I was in Drake video. I had one of the best artists in the game on a song. I’m the best, one of the best. I feel like I deserve it.”
