Gucci Mane’s legal woes continue to mount. The “I Heard” rapper is facing a maximum of 20 years in prison if convicted of two counts of felony gun possession, according to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution.

Gucci, 33, appeared in court Tuesday to be arraigned for two separate cases involving a loaded gun.

Gucci Mane, whose birth name is Radric Davis, was arrested Friday, Sept. 14 after authorities found the rapper in an erratic state with a Glock 40-caliber handgun and 11 rounds of ammunition, according to court documents obtained by AJC. Davis was discovered two days before on Sept. 12 with a Taurus 45-caliber handgun and eight rounds of ammunition.

Gucci additionally faces fines of $500,000.

Gucci’s legal woes comes following an admission that he was battling a 10-year addiction with Lean.

The “Trap House 3” rapper apologized to family and fans for his actions, saying he was “embarrassed.”

“Woke up the other day out this hospital bed & I’m so embarrassed & ashamed of my behavior that was brought to my attention. (Cont)

“I just wanna man up right now & take this time to apologize to my family, friends, the industry & most of all my fans. I’m SORRY! (Cont)

“I’ve been drinking lean for 10plus years & I must admit it has destroyed me. I wanna be the first rapper to admit (cont)

I’m addicted to lean & that shit ain’t no joke. I can barely remember all the things I’ve done & said. However there’s no excuse. (Cont)

Gucci even apologized to fellow Hip Hop entertainers for a rant that shook social media. Gucci hurled shots at former rap protégé Waka Flocka and Cash Money rapper Drake.

Gucci even detailed his sexual exploits with numerous celebs, models and socialites, including Hip Hop bombshell Nicki Minaj.

“Keyshia Dior Kaoir I’m sorry. Please forgive me.

“I wanna personally apologize to birdman ross & drake. Dem my niggas. I 100% regret my words & actions,” he wrote.

Bricksquad Monopoly affiliate Frenchie attributed Gucci’s actions to drugs, according to an interview with Hip Hop magazine XXL.

“I know for a fact, I know it’s the drugs,” the “Power Moves” rapper told XXL. “Y’all see the tweets man, y’all see how he talking, you ain’t going to talk to me and say your Twitter is hacked, your fucking Twitter ain’t hacked. I don’t believe it. All of a sudden you get 2 million followers and now your Twitter is hacked? Fuck outta here.”

Lean, often called “Sizzurp” or “Purple Drank” has its origins in the South after Houston, TX producer DJ Screw popularized the beverage, a concoction made of promethazene-codein cough syrup, Sprite and Jolly Rancher candy.

Lean, when induced, provides its user a sedated feeling.

Gucci often promoted the illegal drink in his music.

In song “Darker,” Gucci raps, “My niggas drink Lean, not water.”
