Shyne Slams ‘Game Of Thrones,’ Says Hip Hop Is Unfairly Targeted for Violence

The recent marketing of the “bloodshed” and “murders” in HBO’s fantasy drama ‘Game of Thrones’ didn’t sit too well with rapper Shyne.

A USA Today article described in vivid detail the gruesome nature of the series’ season finale in their article ‘HBO’s ‘Thrones’ Wraps Bloody Third Season,’ writing, “The bloodshed continued in ‘Game of Thrones’ third-season finale Sunday, but it was nothing as shocking as last week’s murders of Stark family members.”

“…amazing how no one complains about all this murder but blame rap for violence,” the “Gangland” rapper wrote.

It is no secret Hip Hop has taken the brunt of criticism since it founding for the supposed degradation of society due to its violent and profane lyrics. Many critics have blamed society’s ills on the music genre.

Violence is freely advertised in American society, especially media. But rarely do pundits point their fingers at various forms of film, literature and television.

San Francisco Quarterback Colin Kaepernick Tells Fans To Support J. Cole’s ‘Born Sinner’ Album

J. Cole is getting support from the San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick for his sophomore album “Born Sinner.”

Kaepernick posted a photo of himself with the “Power Trip” rapper to his Instagram account.

The caption on the photo read, “Make sure you go cop the homie @realcoleworld new album #bornsinner you know he one if the coldest in the game!”

Cole appreciate the gesture and the retweeted the message.

J. Cole album is now available in major retail store and iTunes.

Chief Keef Impostor Arrested In Carjacking Case

A man who impersonated popular rap star Chief Keef has finally been arrested for attempting to carjacking woman, the Pensacola New Journal reports.

Antoren Bell, 19, was reportedly charged with vehicle theft, robbery and criminal mischief after being identified in a photo lineup. He is being held on a $400,000 bond.

In late May, Bell, with the assistance of three teenage girls he recently met, flagged down an unsuspecting motorist.

Bell drew his gun on the woman and ordered her out of the vehicle. He and the young women jumped into the driver’s suspect as the victim ran away.

The fake “Chief Keef” later ditched the vehicle and ordered everyone out because he didn’t know how to drive a stick shift.

The teenagers told the authorities the suspect referred to himself as “Chief Keef.”

Crazy Fan Threatens To Kill Younger Sister If J. Cole Doesn’t Retweet

Today is a special day for the North Carolina MC J. Cole.

The “Power Trip” rapper’s sophomore album “Born Sinner” has finally hit stores.

But an unsuspecting fan attempted to rain on Cole’s parade.

Twitter user That Aint My Kid @_Tzc_ put the life of his younger sister in the hands of Cole, writing, “@JColeNC retweet me and I’ll buy Born Sinner. Don’t retweet me and I’ll kill my lil sister.”

Cole saw the tweet and immediately obliged the user’s demands. The Roc Nation artist was clearly shook, writing, “Wildest shit I ever seen on twitter.”

Hopefully, the proper authorities can get involved in this. Definitely not cool or funny.

Mikey Dollaz is grinding and is not wasting any time promoting music from his newly released mixtape “Street Talk.”

The M.I.C. rapper dropped his latest visual, shot by Dark Mirror Films, for the single “Add Em Up.”

Mikey’s “numerical” flow on top of this Chase N Dough production is flawless as he raps, “These niggas one-time, they talking to the law/Niggas ‘two’ timin’, they rather see me fall/I lost three main hitters, “four’ them, bet I sign/And I got a few niggas that be repping ‘five’/ But Mikey under ‘six,’ just ask my nigga ‘seven’/ I bet ‘eight,’ I bet ‘nine’ place them right in heaven/ I only fuck with bitches that be ‘10’ or better/11 of my old bitches looking mad and bitter.”

Lil’ Wayne Says He Didn’t Step On American Flag On Purpose

Lil’ Wayne is firing back against criticism after a video clip showed the rapper standing on top of the American flag.

“I didn’t step on the flag on purpose! It’s a scene in a video where the flag drops behind me and after it drop it’s just there as I perform,” he wrote.

The video shoot Wayne appeared in is for the rapper’s song “God Bless Amerika.”

Shyne Says Kanye West’s ‘Yeezus’ Is ‘Genius’

Shyne is a fan of Kanye West’s critically acclaimed sixth studio album. The “Gangland” rapper took to Twitter to praise Yeezy’s work.

“#Yeezus is genius,” he wrote.

“Yeezus” is available in major retail stores and many online sites, including iTunes and Amazon.

Kanye surprised fans Monday after making it available on his website KanyeWest.com a day early for $11.99.

“YEEZUS ALBUM NOW AVAILABLE AT ‪KANYEWEST.COM,” he wrote.

West traveled to Paris to complete most of the album. The album is much different from West’s previous works.

“Yeezus” can be best described as dark.

The Louie Vuitton Don experimented with a variety of sounds, including acid house, industrial music, dancehall and Chicago drill.

It wouldn’t have been appropriate for Ye to dabble in Chicago drill without featuring two of the Windy City’s top drill artists in Chief Keef and King Louie.

King Louie , who also goes under the rap alias “King L,” makes a guest feature on the “Send It Up.”

Chief Keef and West collaborated on the song “Hold My Liquor.”

West kept the song features to a minimum on his latest release. But guest features additionally include Frank Ocean, Travis Scott, Kid Cudi and Charlie Wilson.

29-Year-Old Woman Claims Teenaged Chief Keef Fathered Her Child

Chief Keef’s daughter Kay Kay may have a sister.

A 29-year-old woman is claiming the teenage artist fathered her four-month-old daughter, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Chief Keef, 17, was served with a paternity lawsuit upon leaving a courtroom appearance for a speeding case Monday.

The plaintiff, Erica Early, reportedly filed the lawsuit a week ago in Cook County Circuit Court. Early will face off against the Interscope artist in an Aug. 26 hearing.

Chief Keef may potentially be the father of the child. Chief Keef revealed via Twitter the oldest woman he has had sex with was 30 years of age. He may have been referring to Early.

That isn’t the end of the rap star’s legal woes.

Chief was jailed Monday on a misdemeanor trespassing charge only minutes after leaving a court hearing for a speeding case, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Sosa’s attorney, Leah Starkman, told the Tribune she didn’t know the full details of the Interscope artist’s arrest, but is being held in a Chicago jailhouse. Chief Keef’s arrest came following a court appearance at Skokie courthouse where he pleaded guilty to speeding.

Wearing a black t-shirt, plaid shorts, sneakers and a gold chain, the 17-year-old rapper was fined $531, placed on probation for 18 months, ordered to perform 60 hours community service, undergo random drug testing and complete eight hours of traffic school.

It could have been worse for the O’ Block rapper who was charged with a Class A misdemeanor.

Chief Keef, born Keith Cozart, could have been fined $2,500 and sentenced a year in prison.

Cook County Circuit Judge Earl Hoffenberg scolded the Interscope artist for his reckless behavior.

“You think you’re invincible, and you’re certainly not,” Cook County Circuit Court Judge Earl Hoffenberg, according to the Tribune. “Violate (conditions of the plea agreement) and you’ll find out you’re not. … I sure hope I don’t see you again, because if I do you better be ready to go to jail.”

Dashcam footage of rapper Chief Keef’s speeding arrest hit the net shortly after his arrest. Sosa was caught “lacking” in traffic after Northfield Police clocked him driving 110 mph on the Edens Expressway in a 55 mph zone. Keef’s arrest came following a performance in Davenport, Iowa.

In the video, a very respectful Chief Keef answers and follows the orders of Northfield Police. Once out of his BMW X6 M, Keef is placed in handcuffs and asked a series of questions. Police learn that the young rapper had $8000 in his pockets after being asked how much money was on.

A very comical response from Chief Keef comes towards the end of video when an officer shows him how fast he was going on the speedometer.

“You see that on the dash board up here. The two numbers… well actually the one number… the 110, that’s you okay. That’s how fast you were going,” said the officer.

“That’s a fast car, that’s why I bought it,” said Chief Keef.
