Chief Keef To Hold Hologram ‘Stop The Violence’ Concert At Chicago Theater

“Never say never” is the motto for Chief Keef at this point. Sosa is again trying to hold a hologram concert in his hometown of Chicago in a tri-city event.

Sosa and Alki David’s HologramUSA will hold hold at the Chicago Theater, according to the Chicago Sun Times. Sosa will reportedly be broadcasted simultaneously in Los Angeles, New York and the Windy City in an event that will feature an all-star Hip Hop lineup.

Sosa’s concert may be a definite go this time around. David’s HologramUSA is partnering with Madison Square Garden Company, which manages properties in the three cities.

Sosa’s appeared in hologram form Saturday, July 25 at his Dillan Harris benefit at Craze Fest at the Pavilion at Wolf Lake in Hammond, IN.

“Stop the violence,” he said. “Stop the killing. Stop the nonsense. Let the kids grow up.”

Sosa went on to perform his hit single “I Don’t Like” to an enthusiastic crowd. But Sosa’s performance was cut short after Hammond police pulled the plug.

FilmOn immediately released a tweet, reading, “We were shit down by the police!! More info soon! Sorry guys! #stoptheviolence.”

Hammond Police Lt. Patrick Vicari told the Chicago Sun Times promoters said Chief Keef would not appear by Hologram.

“Even though I was told no Chief Keef by the promoters, they tried it anyway, so we shut it down. We turned the power off, we’re closing the park down,” Vicari reportedly said.

“Police stopped the show,” said Owen Phillips, spokesman for concert organizer HologramUSA, in an emailed statement to the Sun Times. “20 cops and a bulldozer to silence a hologram.”

Sosa didn’t hold his tongue when he lashed out against Mayor Rahm Emanuel on Twitter for having his performance canceled.

“Call Mayor of Chicago @rahemanuel 312-744-5000 and tell him to stay the f*ck off the people’s music #StopTheViolenceNow

“I think I’m the Biggest Capper of all time!!!!!!!” he wrote.

GloHive heeded Sosa’s call and subsequently trolled the mayor for canceling the concert.

The Glo Gang rapper then took to Twitter to announce his mayoral campaign for the City of Chicago.

“I’m running for mayor of Chicago….. Vote for me!!!!! It’ll be the best thing done yet!!!!! Yall gonna love me in the Office,” he wrote.
