Star Jones wants answers after learning of the tragic death of her close friend’s sister, Daily Mail reports.

The former host of The View is using her celebrity to bring attention to the drowning death of Rosaline Lee. Lee is the sister of Jones’ friend Richelle Ransom.

Lee, a mother of three, was found floating in Terry Lake in Michigan by a fisherman.

Lee wants witnesses who have any information on Lee’s death to come forward.

“I can’t get my friend’s sister back but I can use this platform and I plan to use it loudly,” Ms Jones told Daily Mail. “It helps combat the feeling of helplessness. I want to scream and cry.”
